Claire Myers has performed as a soloist in operatic and concert settings across the country. Recently, she appeared in
Pagliacci with Opera San José. She also sings in Opera San José’s One Act Touring Opera
Hansel and Gretel. Ms Myers also appeared as Yum-Yum in Gilbert and Sullivan’s
The Mikado with the Schaumburg Summer Theater.
As the winner of the Chicago College of Music Concerto Competition, she performed Mozart’s
Exsultate, Jubilate as a featured soloist with the Chicago College of Performing Arts Orchestra. She has been seen in diverse operatic roles including Erste Dame in
Die Zauberflöte,
Parasha in Stravinsky’s
Mavra,
and Amor in Gluck’s
Orfeo ed Euridice. Ms. Myers has performed as a soloist in works by Britten, Mozart, Haydn and Raminsh with the University of Colorado University Choir and the choir of The Church of the Ascension, among others. A graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, she received her B.M. from the University of Colorado, and her M.M. at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. She now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
